The Tawny owl, I can't actually remember his name (if anyone can help me out here many thanks! (Wasn't Chestnut, their old friend )) at the Hawk Conservancy.
Taken with a Canon EOS 400D, a nifty little camera belonging to my Uncle (he took me out to try it out on an organised camera event day ^^)
I Love Owls!! When I lived in the Mountains we had this Owl that used our second floor balcony as his watching post for prey every night, add to this that the house was up-slope from the road, and the house was designed in such a way that it was almost three levels high and his perch roughly came out to about 5 stories from the road!

Owls really are one of my top birds! Their eyes i think, and their soft noise! ^^ Do you know what type of owl it was? That is so cool! I want one! We have a barn owl that lives in the woods opppsoite, although we only see them a few weeks of the year!
